G2 P25 Single Band Pager
The Unication G2 is a single-band P25 digital and analog voice pager available in VHF or UHF, supporting P25 Conventional, P25 Trunking Phase I and II, and Analog 2-Tone from one device. It features a 2-inch color LCD, 100 minutes of stored voice, AES 256-bit encryption, Bluetooth 2.0 and 4.0, and is IP67 waterproof.
Overview
The Unication G2 is a single-band voice pager supporting P25 Conventional, P25 Trunking Phase I (FDMA) and Phase II (TDMA), Analog 2-Tone, 5-Tone, MDC-1200, CTCSS, and CDCSS from a single device available in VHF (136-174 MHz) or UHF (380-520 MHz). RF sensitivity is rated at negative 122 dBm with image rejection of 55 to 65 dB and intermodulation at 50 to 65 dB, delivering clear reception in complex RF environments. Audio output exceeds 300 mW at 96 dB SPL measured at 12 inches with less than 2 percent distortion.
The 2-inch color LCD with 320x240 resolution displays 9 lines by 22 characters per screen, and the display housing is rated high-impact resistant. Voice storage is 100 minutes, and voice memo is also 100 minutes, covering extended incident documentation needs. The pager supports 516 analog channels and 256 P25 control channels, with priority TGID scan, multi-TGID monitoring, full-spectrum trunked system scan, and out-of-range alerts. Text messaging and image transfer are included for command-level communications.
AES 256-bit, DES, and ARC4 encryption are supported for agencies with encrypted talk group requirements. Bluetooth 2.0 handles wireless audio accessories and Bluetooth 4.0 covers data. Custom WAV and MP3 alert tones allow agencies to program department-specific tone identities. The G2 is IP67 waterproof to 3 feet for 30 minutes, MIL-STD-810 rated, and software-defined for firmware updates. Battery is a 2,800 mAh lithium-ion cell with a 2-year standard warranty and 5-year option.
